The video for “Nothing to Do,” the latest single from bratty Australian pop-punks the Bleeding Knees Club, merges live-action footage of the band with whimsical animation by John Vermilyea, an animator best known for his work on The Simpsons’ “Treehouse of Horror” episodes.
“We had this idea that when we got super-bored we would turn into witches that fight crime and fly on broomsticks,” says frontman Alex Wall. “The clip was pretty fun to film. We kinda just ran around a forest like weirdos in capes for a night. My favorite part of the clip is the green screen section, when we are flying through that crazy green spiral thing.”
Their debut LP, also titled Nothing To Do, is due out March 2 via I OH YOU.
